The Seoul Accord General Meeting (SAGM) 2019 was held on Thursday, June 13th in Hong Kong. Full signatories and provisional members were present and joined by representatives from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). This year, the Accord has started a new cooperation with the International Engineering Alliance (IEA) by having the Accord General Meeting and with the IEA sessions took place in parallel. Also, for this meeting, the application for provisional status of the Accord by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) was accepted unanimously by the signatories. The admission of the latest members brings the membership of the Accord to a total of 14, eight full signatories and six provisional members.
